Full Job Description

This position will be assigned to the JBSA Randolph Golf Course. This is a flex category position with no guaranteed hrs./wk. Employees appointed to a flexible position are not eligible for benefits.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience: This is an entry level position, no experience required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: 1) Experience providing customer service.

2) Knowledge and experience of golf operations. 3) Ability to operate a motor vehicle in a safe manner. 4) Must have verbal and written communication skills.

Major Duties:

Employee is responsible for the cleanliness and availability of all golf carts, range balls, and rental clubs during assigned shift.

Minor repairs to equipment is required for operational effectiveness. May operate a government vehicle to include light truck, sedan, golf cart, etc.
