About the position: This position will be assigned to the Information, Tickets, and Travel Office on Nellis AFB, NV. Flexible employees have no guaranteed hours but may work up to 40 hours per week.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: General office skills to include typing and filing is preferred. Must have knowledge of cash register, cash handling procedures, bank deposits, and simple cashier reports.
Knowledge of computers is very helpful. Knowledge of the Las Vegas area and knowledge of showroom and Services activities. Prior customer service experience is required. Major Duties:
Operates cash registers and computerized point of sale system and reservation software program; accepting cash, checks and credit cards for merchandise and services.
Responsible for change fund, cashier ticket inventory and daily receipts. Balances cash reports and prepares bank deposits. Accepts reservations for shows and takes registration and money for tours.
Stocks brochure racks and keeps storage room organized. Answers telephones. Gives written and verbal information to customers. Assist with verifying weekly and monthly inventories.
Creates and updates vouchers. Receives tickets on computerized tracking systems. Performs a variety of office duties to include route and file correspondence. Works on a computer daily.
Assists in various activities and events sponsored by the Community Support Flight.
