The Department of Public Safety, Utah Highway Patrol is looking for a Records Manager to provide secretarial and administrative support located at the Utah Highway Patrol Salt Lake Section Office.Position is 40 hours per weekDealing with public exchanges requiring thoughtful communication and positive interpersonal skillsProcessing a variety of agency confidential documents by reviewing for accuracy and completeness, updating information, and evaluating against policyProviding the public and others with information and assistance to complete forms and applications Retrieving data found in databases to generate requested reportsMaintaining and creating files or record keeping systemsSorting, labeling, filing and retrieving documents, or other materials.Receiving, researching, and responding to incoming questions or complaints.Providing information, explaining policy and procedures, and facilitating a resolution.Monitoring, tracking, and following up on documentation, case files or other assignments to ensure appropriate timelines are met and action completed.Writing/originating correspondence, documentation, and other written communication.Processes payments for authorized reports and files timely financial paperwork as requiredThe Ideal CandidateThe model candidate for this position is someone who:Has professional customer service skillsHas great communication skillsHas computer skills with Word, Excel, etc.Knows how to deal with people in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact and professionalismWhy Should You Join Our TeamWe offer the work life balance, opportunities for growth and the upward mobility you've been searching for!
