The Academic Clinical Instructor in Radiology plays a vital role in preparing the next generation of radiologic technologists by providing both academic instruction in the classroom and hands-on clinical training in healthcare settings.
This dual role requires a dynamic educator who can bridge theory with practice to support student learning, skill development, and professional growth.
In the classroom, the instructor will design and deliver engaging lectures, labs, and instructional activities that align with course objectives and accreditation standards.
They will use a variety of teaching methods and instructional technologies to ensure students understand complex concepts in radiographic imaging, patient care, radiation safety, and professional ethics.
In the clinical setting, the instructor will work one-on-one with students at assigned partner facilities, guiding them through real-world radiographic procedures.
