The Department of Human Services is seeking a Quality Assurance/Risk Management Specialist to join our Clarks Summit State Hospital patient care services team.

Responsibilities include maintaining a thorough understanding of regulatory and accreditation standards, as well as evaluating compliance with those requirements.
You will collect and analyze data related to patient abuse, patient rights grievances, hospital practices and procedures, and trends in patient care.
In addition, you will support the hospital’s performance improvement efforts by conducting investigations, participating in committees, and collaborating with department leaders to gather and share data.
You will also respond to data-related requests from senior management and assess available organizational data to help hospital leadership better protect and promote patient rights.
