Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).

It's a role in the Navy's maintenance center in Virginia, focusing on non-combatant ships.
A good fit would be someone with experience in contract management and quality control in manufacturing or construction, who pays close attention to details and can handle technical reviews.
You will serve as a Quality Assurance Specialist (SHIPS) in the Quality Assurance Office (QA) Department (Code 130), CAQAP Waterfront Quality Assurance Div (Code 131), Non-Combatant Branch (Code 131B), Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC), of MID ATLANTIC REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CTR.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience evaluating and managing a comprehensive contract quality assurance program.
Experience providing contractor availability and performance assessments. Experience negotiating and coordinating complex issues related to quality assurance of shipbuilding.
Experience reviewing work specifications on ships. Experience maintaining and analyzing quality shipbuilding data to detect unsatisfactory trends or weaknesses in contractors quality.
