Base salary range: $51,332 - $66,732

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves overseeing the quality of mechanical systems on ships, such as during construction, maintenance, and testing, to ensure everything meets standards and the ship is ready for use.
You'll monitor builders' work, audit processes, and recommend fixes for any issues.
It's a good fit for someone with hands-on experience in shipbuilding or mechanical quality checks who enjoys travel and problem-solving in a naval setting.
You will serve as a Quality Assurance Specialist (Mechanical) in the Quality Assurance Division of the San Diego Detachment of SUPERVISOR OF SHIPBUILDING BATH.
