Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves overseeing quality assurance programs for submarines in the U.S. Navy, ensuring repairs and operations meet strict safety and certification standards.
You'll plan procedures, spot issues, and train teams to keep everything running smoothly and safely.

You will serve as a QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST in the Engineering Department of COM SUBMARINE SQUADRON 17.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: interpreting policies, directives, or requirements (such as submarine operational and technical manual requirements, SUBSAFE certification requirements, Unrestricted Operation Requirements (URO), Material Controls Standards, Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information and JFMM requirements) to plan, develop and coordinate quality assurance program procedures; identifying operational and procedural deficiencies; and implementing corrective action to ensure submarine repair practices meet quality and certification requirements.
