Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a small team to manage and improve quality systems for aviation maintenance at a naval facility, ensuring everything meets specific industry standards for safety and efficiency.
You'll guide audits, solve problems, and align team efforts with the organization's goals.

You will serve as a Quality Assurance Specialist in the Quality Assurance Division of FLTREADCEN EAST specializing in the implementation of AS 9110 principles within the Quality Management System.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Proficient knowledge and applicability of AS 9110 - Quality Management Systems - Requirements for Aviation Maintenance Organizations.
Proficient knowledge and experience in applying a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods to assess and improve program effectiveness in relation to NAMP requirements, AS standards and certifications.
Broad knowledge of engineering and logistics management theory as it relates to the effective establishment and monitoring of an aircraft industrial operation QMS merges with AS and NAMP requirements.
