Full Job Description

IT Specialist (APPSW), Python Developer position(s) are being filled through the Office of Personnel Management's delegated Direct Hire Authority, open to all U.S. citizens.

Duties - Design, develop, and maintain large-scale Python applications integrating ML and LLM models. - Utilize popular Python modules (e.g., NumPy, Pandas) for data processing and analysis.

- Conduct performance analysis to identify memory leaks and ensure scalability in multi-threaded environments. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices. - Use Git or Bitbucket for version control and collaborate using Visual Studio Code.

- Integrate with PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases using SQL. - Implement and maintain security best practices, including authentication and authorization.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. - Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.

- Resolve production outages and issues by analyzing Splunk logs and Dynatrace. - Apply scaled agile practices and update user stories in Kanban/Sprint boards.
