The Department of Corrections (DOC) is seeking a Purchasing Agent Supervisor to lead and oversee all purchasing functions for the Northwest Regional Purchasing Group.

In this position, you will manage the procurement of supplies, materials, equipment, and services for the Northwest Regional Purchasing Group, which supports State Correctional Institutions at Cambridge Springs, Mercer, Albion, and Houtzdale.
You will supervise purchasing agents across the DOC Northwest Region, reviewing and evaluating their work through document analysis, purchase discussions, and issue resolution.
This role requires a high level of independence, with responsibility for carrying out most duties autonomously.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Mercer, PA. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
