Minimum Qualifications:Eligibility for licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Alaska;
AND
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university or Direct Entry Master of Science (MSN) in Nursing from an accredited college or university;
AND
Any combination of additional education, certification, and/or experience that provides the applicant with competencies in:
Equivalent to those typically gained by:
Advanced post-secondary education in nursing, public health, healthcare services, healthcare administration, or a closely related field that includes master’s level study in nursing and/or public health;
AND/OR
Professional experience in public health, community health, international health, and/or occupational health nursing.
Special Notes:
Candidates not currently licensed by the State of Alaska, who otherwise meet the eligibility requirements for licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Alaska and requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities, may apply for vacancies in this job class.
Applicants qualifying under this option may receive a conditional job offer; however, proof of RN licensure will be required prior to appointment and reporting for duty.
