Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves creating and sharing multimedia content, managing digital media like websites, and building relationships with the media and public to promote the US Navy's presence in Europe and Africa.
It's based in Italy and focuses on both everyday communications and support during crises or exercises.
A good fit would be someone with experience in digital content creation, public relations, and strong communication skills who enjoys working in an international military environment.
You will serve as a Public Affairs Outreach and Digital Media Specialist in the Public Affairs Office, of COMMANDER US NAVAL FORCES EUROPE and Africa (NAVEUR-NAVAF) in Capodichino, Italy.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Experience in developing audio, visual, and multimedia products to meet the information and communication needs of the command and its audiences.
2) Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with the media to inform internal and external audiences about the command.
3) Experience in developing programs and activities to establish, maintain, and enhance public awareness of the command and enable mutually beneficial community relationships.
4) experience in using methods and activities employed to establish, promote, and maintain a favorable relationship with the public.
