Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves providing therapy, assessments, and support to people with serious mental health issues in a state hospital setting, helping them build on their strengths to improve daily functioning.
You'll work closely with a team to create treatment plans and track progress.

As a Psychological Services Specialist, you will provide a full range of psychological services to chronically and severely mentally ill consumers in an inpatient hospital setting.
You will assess levels of function and cognitive integrity, determine specific treatment approaches, and set achievement goals.
You will also administer psychological testing, provide psychotherapy, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to assess, recommend, and conduct needed treatment.
This role requires the ability to deliver therapy which builds on a person's strengths and interests to maintain and enhance present level of function.
In addition, you will maintain records, attend regular training programs, and provide progress feedback to consumers and team members.
