This position is located at the SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) - Office of Mental Health, Greater Greenville Mental Health Center, 20 Executive Drive, Greer, SC 29651.
Under limited supervision, you will direct, coordinate, plan and provide psychiatric treatment to clients; provide other related professional medical psychiatric duties in order to assure quality care, maintenance of education, and coordination of therapeutic effort.
Provide psychiatric evaluations, consultations, and implement psychiatric treatment when the level of care needed so warrants
Supervise interdisciplinary treatment through consultation, education and individual supervision
Conduct diagnostic staffings and ongoing treatment team meetings
Adhere to all Corporate Compliance, Outcome Evaluation, Research and Continuity of Care Policies and procedures. Maintain documentation of clinical services in accordance with State/Center/Quality Assurance standards
Provide staff education, medical student and psychiatric resident training, as needed
