Base salary range: $51,332 - $66,732
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-8. Master's degree or 2 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This role involves planning and managing official events, visits by important guests, and ceremonies like awards or promotions for the U.S. Marine Corps command.
You'll handle everything from budgeting special funds to ensuring smooth coordination and compliance with rules.

You will serve as a PROTOCOL OFFICER in the OFFICE OF THE COMMANDING GENERAL (CG) of II MARINE EXPEDITIONARY FORCE.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing the planning, coordination, and execution of all protocol aspects for visits of distinguished individuals; AND organizing social and protocol arrangements for official presentations and events including honors, awards, promotions, retirements, and/or assumption of command ceremonies.
