The Opportunity
WSDOT is seeking a skilled specialist to support the Rail, Freight, and Ports Division in delivering state and federally funded capital projects through the application of advanced project development and project management expertise.
This position will ensure alignment with agency priorities, policies, and safety standards while providing expert coordination, contract administration, scheduling, and quality verification with minimal supervision.
The role is critical to the successful delivery of grants, loans, and legislative-funded projects, requiring strong collaboration with internal teams and external partners, adherence to federal and state compliance requirements, and the ability to evaluate complex project elements and recommend effective solutions.
Our top candidate will possess expertise in capital project delivery, grants and contract management, regulatory compliance, and demonstrate sound engineering judgment, and analytical problem-solving.
