This position is located within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Procurement, Acquisition, and Logistics (OPAL), National Acquisition Center, Denver Logistics Service (DLS), in Golden, Colorado.
The position is assigned within the Veteran Services Division (VSD). To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 04/15/2026.
Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
For a GS-07 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-06. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service.
An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials.
If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement.
In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade.

You may qualify based on your experience as described below: Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-06 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.

Physical Requirements: Work requires long periods of sitting with intense concentration, and working at top speed for several hours at a time.
Work is primarily sedentary, although some walking, bending, stooping and reaching are required.
Very little lifting is required; however, employees may need to move files\file boxes and boxes containing bond paper weighing less than 50 lbs. a very short distance.

Local Commuting Area: The local commuting area for this position is defined as a radius of 50 miles from Golden, Colorado .
This includes all locations that fall within a 50-mile driving distance from National Acquisition Center (NAC), 555 Corporate Circle, Golden, Colorado 80401. Major Duties:
***THIS IS NOT A VIRTUAL POSITION, YOU MUST LIVE WITHIN OR BE WILLING TO RELOCATE WITHIN A COMMUTABLE DISTANCE OF THE DUTY LOCATION*** Major Duties: Serve in the capacity as the Veterans Services Support Technician and as the frontline representative responsible for the placement of all orders received from clinics and Veterans at the Denver Logistics Service.
Perform varying duties such as tracking spreadsheets for order card and phone call workload, credit card reconciliation, and miscellaneous office procedures.
Communicate verbally and in writing with customers, via email and/or written correspondence.
Provide courteous and professional costumer service to VA Clinicians and Veterans over the phone; addresses issues and answers questions regarding Veterans orders.
Use and operate various office machines, e.g. personal computers, printers, calculators, scanners, phone system.
