About the Position: This is a Defense Health Agency position located in Camp Foster, Okinawa, in the physical and occupational therapy department.

The employee manages patient schedules, tracks access to care, provides customer service, and oversees the front desk.

Major Duties:

  • Extract information from databases or other systems to prepare reports
  • Interpret physical or occupational health-related policies and procedures to advise customers on inquiries
  • Apply tact when dealing with difficult patients to gain patient acceptance or compliance to established policies
  • Research medical notes and other information ensure proper medical care is available
  • Provide assistance to patients requiring other evaluations or services that are not available at the department
