This job involves leading and overseeing complex acquisition projects for aerial intelligence sensors in the U.S.
Army, including managing finances, logistics, and regulatory documents to ensure projects stay on track.
It requires coordinating with teams and stakeholders to make key decisions and prepare updates for senior leaders.
A good fit would be someone with strong project management experience in defense or government settings, who is detail-oriented and comfortable handling high-stakes technical programs.
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: This position is assigned to a Product Office within Project Director Sensor-Aerial Intelligence, located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

Specialized experience: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (NH-03).
1) Provides guidance to external organizational stakeholders on decisions that impact acquisition projects; 2) Demonstrates knowledge of the agency's acquisition process to provide oversight for complex acquisition programs; and 3) Prepares briefings and reports for senior leaders to identify issues and progress in issue resolution.
