Full Job Description

Job Purpose:

This is a leadership position with responsibility for coordinating the delivery of workforce training and professional development to regional business/industry, government, and other agencies on a cost recovery basis.

The position has overall strategic and operational responsibility for the staff, programs, performance, and execution of the mission and goals of the unit.

Job Duties:

  1. Lead the planning and delivery of non-credit workforce training programs, corporate training, professional development and personal enrichment programs. Oversee non-credit admissions and administrative operations to ensure efficient and effective management.
  2. Manage the unit’s budget and profit/loss performance. Establish and monitor enrollment and revenue goals, ensure the development of positive revenue-generating programs that meet community and industry needs.
  3. Ensure the unit’s compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, institutional policies and accrediting bodies.
  4. Build and sustain strong partnerships with business, industry, government, and community organizations to develop responsive, high-quality non-credit training programs.
  5. Participate in economic and workforce development councils and committees with external constituencies in the region.
  6. Perform special workforce projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree and relevant program experience.
