Base salary range: $104,604 - $135,987

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading engineering projects focused on measurement science and calibration for the Navy, coordinating requirements with aviation customers, and providing expert advice to ensure accurate systems support.

You will serve as a ENGINEERING PROGRAM MANAGER in the MEASUREMENT SCIENCE & ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT (MS00) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV.
This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level ND-04 (GS-12/13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional Engineer providing technical leadership and project management within a metrology-focused environment, demonstrating extensive knowledge of the NAVAIR METCAL Program, the application of advanced metrology principles to solve complex measurement problems, and a thorough understanding of Navy processes for the acquisition, fielding, and lifecycle support of new systems.
