Base salary range: $88,520 - $115,079
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-12. Expert-level knowledge in field.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading and managing a contract for planning ship maintenance and upgrades in the Navy, including advising on budgets, contracts, and programs while coordinating with various military and external teams.
It requires overseeing policies, procedures, and execution to meet cost, schedule, and performance goals for surface ship operations.
A good fit would be someone with strong management experience in government or defense projects, excellent communication skills, and a knack for handling complex, interrelated tasks in a high-stakes environment.

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the grade level (GS-13) or pay band (NH-03) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Management in applying qualitative and quantitative methods and techniques to improve the administrative support functions and program operations that support Surface Maintenance Engineering Planning Program (SURFMEPP) responsibilities to implement and execute the Specification Development and Availability Execution Support Planning contract (SDAES).
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
