Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level/pay band NH-03 (GS-13) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in planning, programming budgeting and execution (PPBE), ship repair planning, and long term project planning to manage programing and execution of budgets and projects for ship, submarine, carrier, ship system or weapon system.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Major Duties:

  • You will provide management, financial, and business analysis functions to support various Naval Shipyards programs and projects.
  • You will provide overall direction and guidance for the program organization, administration and civilian personnel.
  • You will coordinate acquisition program requirements across Congressional interest, DoD, Navy, and Industry, consulting functional experts both internally and externally.
  • You will oversee identification of resource requirements and development of strategies for program planning, budgeting and execution (PPBE).
  • You will approve budget inputs, including supporting justification.
