Full Job Description

You will serve as a Program Manager in the UACE-W Division, Program Management Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band (DA-05) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Utilizing a wide range of technical and business systems, processes, and practices used to manage weapon systems acquisition; 2) Reviewing, analyzing, and implementing higher level procurement policies; 3) Managing project/program requirements, objectives and metrics, and resolving conflicts among schedules, funding, and resources; 4) Identifying opportunities to incorporate process improvements and best practices utilizing customer feedback, internal and external audits, self-assessment, and lessons learned activities; and 5) Advising management and colleagues on difficult problems, conducting special studies, proposing options and alternatives, and representing a command.

  • You will develop and defend program budgets and acquisition strategies, presenting program status and critical issues to senior leadership.
  • You will evaluate program performance and documentation to identify risks, incorporate process improvements, and ensure alignment with sound business practices.
