This job involves leading teams to manage the planning, budgeting, and delivery of aviation support equipment for the Navy, ensuring projects stay on track for cost, schedule, and performance.
It requires coordinating with various government and contractor groups to handle everything from design and testing to installation and ongoing support.
A good fit would be someone with strong leadership experience in large-scale projects, especially in defense or acquisition, who thrives in coordinating complex efforts and solving problems.
You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the NAWCAD SE & ALRE Group, Support Equipment Department, Common and Commercial Systems Division of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DA-05/GS-12/13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties: 1) Leading multi-disciplined government and contractor Integrated Product Teams to plan, budget, and execute acquisition and sustainment efforts to include design, development, test, procurement, production, fielding, installation (ship and shore) and in-service support of support equipment systems; 2) Coordinating and interfacing with appropriate Program Offices, NAVAIR and NAWCAD Departments, system commands, fleet representatives, and contractors to assure proper execution; 3) Making major program recommendations concerning program direction, resources, policies, and schedules; and 4) Managing all project schedules and acquisitions to ensure all projects are developed, tested and fielded as planned for cost, schedule and performance.
5) Identifying program risks, issues, and concerns, and develop mitigation plans or corrective strategies to ensure successful program execution and alignment with organizational goals.
