Program Support in the successful implementation of Key Fleet Programs: Key responsibilities will include assisting in the management of current fleet programs that include agency wide Enterprise Asset Management Systems and executing forward-thinking fleet telematic/diagnostic system Initiatives by developing executive proposals and conducting a full program Implementation (e.g.

policies, training, tracking and sustainability).

Accountable Property and Fixed Asset Disposal: Assists and supports in the area of agency property disposal by working with the primary custodian in maintaining disposal records for the agency. Will assist in the successful implementation and development of an agency wide computer program to include current disposal methods, record retention and adhering to agency property disposal procedures.

Fleet Systems Technical Knowledge: Provides technical assistance for Supply and Equipment operations and statewide repair shops needing updates to equipment information in the Department vehicle and equipment management system. Ensuring data accuracy, research historical records for confirmation and manually adjust equipment descriptions, VIN numbers, serial numbers, or accumulated mileage for correct reporting. Assists with service ticket errors as needed.

Provide reporting, presentations, and proposals: Conducts special projects at management's request; prepares and presents reports using Department software such as excel, power BI and other data systems.

Mine data and analysis to determine areas of focus and measuring success: Provides technical and professional services in a program area of equipment replacement by using data to determine the proper areas of focus for replacement. Capable of offering innovative ideas, approaches, and solutions for equipment management.

Assists in the transfer and release of vehicle titles after public auction sale administered by the South Carolina Surplus Property Office. Coordinates distribution of titles to purchasers of surplus sales items. Obtains salvage titles for insurance purposes.

Serves as the agency back-up Fuel Card Coordinator which includes assisting in the distribution of fuel cards, requesting new fuel cards from State Fleet. Performs other related duties as assigned.














Requirements

A high school diploma and two (2) years of relevant program experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence. A valid motor vehicle operator's license is required.

The physical demands for the essential functions includes sitting or standing at a desk for an extended periods and working on a computer. May be required to lift up to 30 lbs. May be required to work outside normal business hours.
