About the Position: The position is established to provide assistant level support of management and program analytical functions Serves as program integrator to develop program and budget documents and reports, incorporating data developed primarily by project managers in coordination with other staff elements.

Specialized Experience: One year specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal Service or equivalent with responsibility of developing program and budget documents and reports from data provided by project managers and staff personnel; and reviewing, coordinating, and refining, budget documents and reports to ensure appropriate planning and budget data exists to support project funding and execution.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).

Major Duties:

  • Evaluates the efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity of programs involving resources, records, reports, directives, forms or similar management systems.
  • Develops, prepares, and assembles fact sheets, issue papers, and other programming and budgeting documents necessary for program execution.
  • Reviews, coordinates, and refines program and budget documents and reports to ensure that they include appropriate planning and budgetary data to support project funding and execution.
  • Develops program and budget documents and reports, incorporating data developed primarily by project managers in coordination with other staff elements.
