Job Description

Summary

This job involves analyzing and improving inventory systems for military ordnance, such as weapons and supplies, by conducting audits, identifying issues, and recommending fixes to make operations more efficient.

Key Requirements

Full Job Description

You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST (INVENTORY) in the Headquarters staff of NMCPAC EAST ASIA DIVISION.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing qualitative and quantitative analysis to measure the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of ordnance inventory and logistics policies, procedures and systems in an effort to identify problem areas and recommend approaches or procedures to leadership.

  • You will plan and conduct audits and evaluations to determine the effectiveness of the Receipt, Segregation, Storage and Issue and Ordnance Information Systems Retail and Wholesale (OIS-R/W) processes.
  • You will provide for development and application of Ordnance Information Systems Retail and Wholesale (OIS-R/W).
  • You will conduct special studies and investigations in any area of management and operations relating to ordnance inventory and retail management.
  • You will be familiar with the Operating Materials and Supplies Management Review Controls.
  • You will identify deficiencies in systems, procedures, and resources, which could impede timely and efficient task accomplishment.
  • You will plan and conduct process analysis identifying problem areas and recommend approaches or procedures to leadership at the headquarters as well as subordinate activities.
