Base salary range: $51,332 - $66,732
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-8. Master's degree or 2 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves analyzing and improving supply processes like receiving, storing, and purchasing materials in a naval shipyard setting, with a focus on the Material Access Technology (MAT) system that supports maintenance operations.
You'll work alongside experts to study processes, test system updates, monitor the application, and manage databases.
It's a good fit for someone with experience in supply chain analysis or IT systems in a technical or government environment, who enjoys problem-solving and teamwork.
You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the SUPPLY DEPARTMENT (code 500) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
For the GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing supply department processes i.e.
receiving, storage, expediting, and purchasing and item management to support improvements to the effectiveness of methods, procedures, and functions of the Material Access Technology (MAT), or similar, application.
