As a Program Analyst 2, you will collaborate closely with department leadership, including district executives, bureau directors, and personnel within the Program Analysis, Metrics, and Business Services Section (PAMBSS) to enhance productivity and propose modifications to procedures, structures, processes, and management practices.
Your responsibilities will include managing the technical aspects of PennDOT’s program areas, optimizing functionality of the Commonwealth’s data sources, aiding in the development and execution of effective maintenance management practices, and conducting program analysis, research, forecasting, evaluation, and planning for operational enhancements.
You will also participate in the planning and execution of initiatives and oversee communications with stakeholders across the department.
Furthermore, you will prepare and track reports that fulfill Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) or other organizational performance metric requirements; create reports, tables, charts, and graphs to convey complex analyses, plans, and recommendations aimed at improving agency operations; and develop analyses and presentations related to innovative, collaborative, and improvement program outcomes and progress towards the agency's goals and objectives.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
