Full Job Description

This position is located in the Facilities, Acquisition, and Logistics (FALD) Division, Facilities and Logistics Branch and serves as the Program Manager to the PFPA Fleet Management and Fleet Credit Card Program.

In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.

You may qualify at the GS-13 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service (experience may have been gained in the private sector) that demonstrates your ability to 1) Applying a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of one or more programs.

2) Participating in the planning, programming, and budgeting regulations, guidelines and processes to prepare cost analysis and future operations and functions; and 3) Demonstrating knowledge of fleet management strategic goals, objectives and regulatory guidance in order to achieve mission and program requirements.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: Plans, organizes, and conducts analytical studies of the Fleet Program and evaluate the financial and policy to ensure full compliance with Federal, DoD, and GSA guidelines.

Conducts quantitative, qualitative, cost benefit, and similar types of analyses.

Directs complex analyses and identifying and proposing solutions to difficult problems that are not susceptible to treatment by common methods.

Provides a variety of analytical support to managers and staff. Analyzes programs to identify potential problem areas, conflicting program requirements, and needed program revision.
