Full Job Description

You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in 300N.4, the Reactor Servicing Division of the Nuclear Production Department of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF).

GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing deficiencies of nuclear procedures and training programs by making recommendations for program operations, ensuring compliance of policies and regulations, and cost coordination.

GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

  • You will coordinate production efforts to maintain high quality control of work by providing guidance and assistance to shop management in coordinating, planning, executing, and monitoring quality control actions.
  • You will provide guidance to other departments in development of procedures for implementation of specific guidelines and directives issued by higher authorities.
  • You will review and approve all lesson plan developments and revisions for production shop skill training exercises.
  • You will conduct audits and assessments of shop quality control procedures to determine the degree of compliance with established requirements.
  • You will analyze deficiency reports and audits to identify training program deficiencies or trends which may require a change in the training program.
  • You will anticipate problems, provide recommendations for resolution, and negotiate a course of action.
