This job is for a recruiter at the SC Youth ChalleNGe Academy, a program that helps young people aged 15-18 get back on track through a structured, quasi-military environment.
The role involves traveling around South Carolina to schools, shelters, and events to find and sign up potential students, while also supporting their families and building partnerships for mentoring and job placements.
It's ideal for someone outgoing, organized, and passionate about youth development who thrives in a busy, team-focused setting.
Experience in recruiting of youth, as well as adults for staff and volunteer opportunities. Knowledge of laws, regulations, policies and procedures relevant to the area of employment.
Individual must be willing to travel overnight, promote a good work environment and maintain a professional appearance.
Position requires that the individual maintain up-to-date knowledge of the status of assigned program areas.
Maintains harmonious working relationship with all Youth Challenge Departments and Programs to ensure the needs of the cadets remains first and foremost.
