This job is for someone to lead and teach in a dental assisting program at a community college, handling classroom lessons, lab work, and hands-on clinic training while making sure everything meets safety and quality standards.
It also involves managing the program's curriculum, equipment, and community outreach efforts.
A good fit would be an experienced dental professional, like a certified assistant or licensed dentist, who enjoys teaching and leading a team in a educational setting.

The Program Director provides leadership and instruction for students enrolled in the Expanded Duty Dental Assisting Education Program.
This role is responsible for delivering high-quality classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction while ensuring that all educational activities align with program standards and accreditation requirements.
Key responsibilities include overseeing curriculum development and revision, implementing ongoing assessment strategies, and ensuring that all facilities, instruments, and equipment are properly maintained and meet instructional and safety needs.
The Program Director also manages community outreach initiatives and supervises Dental Clinic operations to ensure compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and institutional guidelines.
This position works collaboratively with the Environmental Health Manager to maintain current safety protocols, including infection control, hazardous materials handling, and overall clinic safety standards.
Teaching assignments may be scheduled during the day or evening, across any campus location, and may be delivered in traditional, online, or hybrid formats.
