This job involves helping licensed professionals who struggle with substance use or mental health issues by managing their cases, coordinating treatment, and ensuring they follow recovery plans to protect public safety.
You'll work with reports, evaluate progress, and advise licensing boards on interventions.
It's ideal for someone with counseling or case management experience who is passionate about supporting recovery and has strong organizational skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing case management services to licensees throughout their involvement in the Professional Health Monitoring Program (PHMP) as well as serving as a consultant to the licensing boards which have the impaired professional provision in their practice acts.
Work involves implementing the policies and procedures of PHMP to ensure the program fulfills its primary mandate to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public from licensees suffering from mental or physical impairment issues.
You will have the opportunity to utilize your knowledge of substance use and/or mental health disorders to determine and/or coordinate appropriate evaluation and treatment services for licensees seeking PHMP participation or for individuals enrolled in PHMP.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 50% upon successful completion of the probationary period.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
