This professional geologic managerial position provides technical hydrogeologic oversight through the implementation of Safe Drinking Water regulatory requirements for Public Water System (PWS) construction, modification, and operations.
The Professional Geologist Manager holds responsible charge and supervises the work of Licensed Professional Geologists (L.P.G.), Geoscientists, and Geoscientist Trainees within the Safe Drinking Water Technical Services Section.
Responsibilities include planning, developing, and coordinating permitting and authorization activities that support the protection of public health and the integrity of drinking water sources.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 3 days per week.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Wilkes-Barre. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
