This job is for a production controller in the District of Columbia Army National Guard, where you'll organize and oversee repair and production work to keep military equipment running smoothly.

District of Columbia National Guard Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, DC PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (TITLE 32) GS-1152-09 Area III: All qualified candidates who are willing and eligible for military membership in the (DCARNG).

**THIS IS NOT A CIVILIAN POSITION MILITARY MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED** Permanent Change of Station (PCS): PCS not authorized Relocation Incentive: Incentive may be authorized Selected Reserve Incentive Program: Acceptance of this position will cause termination of Federal bonuses pursuant to respective Selected Reserve Incentive Programs (SRIP).

This termination may be with or without recoupment of payments already made.

NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military rank and assignment in the District of Columbia Army National Guard.

Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: experience, education or training scheduling workflow in more than one area and responsible for coordinating products or materials from support activities.

Experience in performing or supervising journeyman level work in a production facility.

Experience preparing job or work orders; scheduling various phases of projects into the production facility; following up to see if work is progressing as planned and arranging for adjustments in materials, machine processes, and work sequencing allowing for changes.

Experience with current automation support programs to input data, provide status of equipment, and monitor job order status, monitor work priorities, requisition repair parts, track repair parts status, etc.

For positions requiring a security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) the applicant must possess or be able to obtain a clearance within One

year of appointment. This position is located in the Joint Force Headquarters-State, Logistics Directorate (J-4/G-4), Surface Maintenance Facility.

The purpose of this position is to perform maintenance production management, to achieve or maintain desires production levels, to serve as an equipment readiness expert for units supported by the facility, and to provide technical guidance and oversight to a lower-graded Production Controller.

Duties: Establish, plan and schedule for maintenance and repair, using multiple process production methods and procedures for a variety of vehicles and equipment.

Implement maintenance plans and monitor progress of accomplishments. Prepare job work orders, schedule various phases of projects in to the production facility.

Responsible for data input of work order information, status changes, supply updates, and other pertinent information.

Conduct initial and long range planning on matters which include multiple process production, maintenance operations, equipment readiness, including mechanical skills.

Make in-the-spot adjustments to repair priorities necessitated by unscheduled maintenance requirements. performs other duties as assigned.
