Summary

Full Job Description

You will serve as a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (HYDRAULICS) in the MECHANICAL PLANNING DIVISION , ENGINEERING AND PLANNING DEPARTMNET C/400 of TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, BANGOR.

For the GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector coordinating, planning and execution of hydraulic system maintenance actions onboard and in the shop, for nuclear submarine refits.

Performing maintenance actions and alterations with the effect to avoid production delays, scheduling conflicts, lack of material, and to improve work processes.

Conducting in depth research on parts and process that support the above.

For the GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector planning of preventative and corrective hydraulic system maintenance work of submarines, to include research and manhour estimates.

  • You will determine the proper procedures and applicable test requirements to certify the work is performed correctly and that repaired systems or components will function as designated.
  • You will develop work packages used to accomplish repairs, alteration or overhaul/refurbishment on complex systems, subsystems, and components of TRIDENT class submarines.
  • You will conduct research of technical information prior to preparation of work packages.
  • You will develop man hour estimates required for work accomplishment.
  • You will provide material technical resolution and troubleshooting services, and maintain awareness of the entire material support condition for assigned projects.
