The Opportunity
WSDOT is currently seeking a Procurement & Supply Specialist 1 to join the Central Sign Shop.
They will be responsible for ordering, receiving, processing, and tracking orders and services to and from vendors, managing payroll, and assisting with inventory control maintenance in warehouse and manufacturing setting.
In addition, this position performs fiscal activities in a variety of work areas such as processing sign order invoices for billing, record keeping, analysis, and overseeing fiscal records while compiling and ensuring the accuracy of reports.
This position is dedicated to performing this challenge, as well as integrating the WSDOT Strategic Plan Goal Areas of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Resilience, and Workforce Development.

Qualifications
To be considered for this opportunity, the following competencies are required:
Procurement & Inventory Management: Basic knowledge of procurement methods, purchasing policies, and contract administration.
Basic knowledge of purchasing practices and stock control procedures, with demonstrated experience in ordering, receiving, and maintaining a variety of materials, supplies, parts and equipment, and managing multiple work orders.
