About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at Resource Management, Ramstein AB, Germany.
Executes the Private Organization (PO) coordinator functional duties in accordance with applicable AF regulations; maintains PO and unofficial activity working files to ensure all documentation is adequate and current; communicates and maintains a strong working relationship with multiple units throughout the installation.

Citizens of Germany (including dual citizenship if Germany is one of the countries) as well as "ordinarily resident" US citizens are not eligible for NAF employment per SOFA agreement.
If not already in the commuting area, must be able to verify the ability to arrive before a firm job offer can be sent.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: Must have experience with planning, organizing, scheduling, and coordinating conferences and/or events (fund raising functions, workshops, training); arranges supplies and support services for functions (transportation, facilities, security, and funding).
Experience must have been sufficiently demanding to demonstrate ability to perform at this grade level.
Must have progressively responsible experience in clerical or office work which has provided a thorough knowledge of administrative principles and practices.
Must be able to work effectively with people.
Knowledge of host country and military community laws, procedures and miscellaneous provisions governing the establishment and activity of private organizations is preferred but not required.
General knowledge and/or experience of budgeting and accounting principles is desired. Major Duties:
Executes the Private Organization (PO) coordinator functional duties in accordance with applicable AF regulations; maintains PO and unofficial activity working files to ensure all documentation is adequate and current; communicates and maintains a strong working relationship with multiple units throughout the installation (i.e.
public health, base legal, safety, etc.) to ensure proper coordination of PO documentation and enforcement of regulatory requirements; reviews annual budgets and quarterly financial statements of POs to ensure their mathematical correctness and completeness of information; reviews and coordinates PO fundraising requests; coordinates PO involvement in Force Support-related events (i.e.
"Freedom Fest" and "Bazaar"); prepares and conducts quarterly briefings training organization officers to ensure compliance with AF regulation.
Assists in the development and coordination of the Non-appropriated fund (NAF) quarterly income and expense budgets as well as the NAF requirements budget; updates files accordingly and provides updates to the Resource Manager (RM) for review and approval.
