About the position: This position is located at the La Bella Vista Club, Area F. This is a NAF (Non-Appropriated Fund) position assigned to the 31st Force Support Squadron at Aviano AB, Italy.

Scheduled tour of duty will require evenings, weekends, and holiday work hours. Who May Apply: Open to everyone.

An applicant's eligibility will be determined based on eligibility claimed in the questionnaire and proof of eligibility MUST be provided with application by the closing date, 03/11/2026 The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is US Citizens or NATO country citizens with a valid US permanent resident card and Social Security Number.

In accordance with the Status of Forces agreement between Italy and the US, you must be at Aviano AB on orders and be a US citizen or citizen of a NATO country with a US permanent resident card.

Italian citizens may not apply for US NAF positions; however, may be eligible for local national positions on base. Must be able to provide documentation proving residence status overseas.

Legal US residents must possess a social security number and be citizens of a NATO country. The 31ST Force Support Squadron is not currently providing logistical support.

Applicants must provide proper documentation indicating they are already a supported member of Aviano AB.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience: Must have experience which provides knowledge of club, restaurant, and retail operation.

Must also possess experience which provides knowledge of cash handling procedures and sales operations such as; receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit and use of cash accountability control methods.

Must have experience which demonstrates ability to provide work direction to other club employees and knowledge of fire, safety, and health regulations.

Must be able to communicate with customers and possess skill in dealing with the public. Major Duties:

Monitors operations of a club or assigned area, normally during absence of the manager and assistant manager, and normally at night or on weekends.

Responsible for issue, receipt and control of cash boxes. Prepares a report of all significant occurrences during the shift.

Reviews the schedule of functions that are to take place during the assigned shift and ensures they are carried out as planned by management.

Ensures that only authorized personnel use the facility, and that club rules, regulations and established procedures are followed.

Assures patron satisfaction by resolving complaints and other customer problems. Provides instruction and guidance to all club staff members on functions taking place during the shift.

Inspects and secures facility at the end of the shift. Performs other related duties as assigned.
