Requirements

You will effectively operate a variety of printing equipment to create one- and two-color maps, publications, brochures, forms, and other printed materials for the department. A thorough knowledge of different printing techniques and the machinery that supports the graphic service center (GSC) in both single and multi-color printing is essential for success in this role. Furthermore, collaboration is vital; you will need to assist fellow GSC team members, particularly when specific equipment is out of service or during periods of increased workload. This cooperative approach not only enhances productivity but also ensures that the department meets its printing demands efficiently and effectively.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year as a Print Production Operator (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • One year of experience in the operation of print or mail insertion equipment or similar machinery used in a print or mail production facility; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.


Additional Requirements:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
