This position is part of the Government Secure and Intelligent Documents, Government Publishing Office in Washington, District of Columbia To qualify for the PPW (SECURE CREDENTIALS), you must meet the following requirements: To qualify for the Printing Plant Worker (Secure Credential), KX-4401-6 position, you must meet the following requirements: Applicants must meet the following SCREEN OUT/JOB ELEMENT #1: Ability to do the work of a Printing Plant Worker (Secure Credentials) without more than normal supervision (SCREEN OUT) to be considered eligible for the position.
These duties require 1) Skill to set up, operate, and make user adjustments to the shipment label printer. 2) Verifies the integrity of the cartons, seals, and contents.
And 3)Write shipment receipts, record receipt numbers, and other pertinent information on shipment reports.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
