Summary

Full Job Description

Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of standardized behavioral/clinical assessments, thereby maximizing data integrity. Train and oversee research assistants in behavioral protocols, increasing throughput and consistency across participants. Foster higher participant retention and stronger family engagement (through the clinicians’ interface with families), which is critical for longitudinal follow-up. Integrate clinical assessment findings with neurobiological and intervention data to deliver the multidisciplinary outcomes promised in the application. Enhance the publication and dissemination capacity of the project by including clinical/behavioral expertise among the authorship team.

Requirements

• Doctorate (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an APA -accredited program.
• Completion of an APA -accredited internship.
• Licensed or license-eligible as Psychologist in the State of South Carolina.
• At least one year of postdoctoral experience providing clinical and/or research-based psychological services.
• Experience working in an academic or research environment.
• Training in neuropsychological assessment or evidence-based interventions (e.g., CBT , ACT , mindfulness-based therapies.)
• Experience with populations relevant to ongoing studies (e.g., neurological disorders, developmental disabilities, trauma, mood disorders.)
• Strong background in research methods and data collection involving human human participants.
• PhD in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent), with postdoctoral in autism research or developmental psychopathology, proficient in administering standardized assessments (for example – ADOS , ADI -R, Vineland, Behavior Assessment System for Children, etc.).
• Experience in supervising research staff, working with families of children with ASD , and contributing to peer-reviewed publications.
