Full Job Description

You will serve as a Port Operations Specialist in the Region Port Operations of COMMANDER NAVY REGION EUROPE.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying principles and methodologies of seaport operations to plan and execute shore support for naval vessels; 2) Coordinating a full range of waterfront services such as fuel, water, pier services, and ordnance transfers; and 3) Analyzing port capabilities against mission requirements to identify and resolve operational deficiencies or shortfalls.

  • You will coordinate actions that ensure implementation of port operation functions resulting in acceptable Readiness support to our Fleet Customers.
  • You will monitor, reviews and evaluates strategic and tactical planning and supports business process re-engineering activities.
