Full Job Description

Under limited supervision, the Policy Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the Department’s policies, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.

Collaborates with staff, stakeholders, and external partners to create effective, evidence-based policies that enhance operations, support strategic goals, and promote accountability across the organization.

Primary responsibilities are chairing the Policy Review Committee, implementing an electronic policy system and workflow process, managing the Department’s policy manual and form controls, and assisting with law enforcement accreditation activities.



Requirements

A bachelor’s degree and relevant program experience.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree and experience with technical writing and producing policy briefs, memos, reports, and presentations for diverse groups, including policy makers and agency leaders. Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic database software.
