Summary
This job involves leading and handling all plumbing maintenance, repairs, and installations at a correctional facility in South Carolina, including sewage systems and emergency responses.
It requires supervising teams and being available for on-call duties around the clock.

Full Job Description
- Plan, organize, control, supervise, administer and complete facility plumbing maintenance and repair program
- Responsible for program development, supervision of emergency plumbing maintenance and repair operations, and the installation, operation and maintenance of plumbing and sewage disposal systems.
- Position may require on-call rotation and/or 24-hour emergency repair
Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire

State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma and experience in the installation, maintenance or repair of air, water, gas or waste disposal systems. Relevant experience may be substituted for the required diploma on a year-for-year basis.
SCDC Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma and 5 years professional experience in the installation, maintenance or repair of air, water, gas or waste disposal systems.
