Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves overseeing the maintenance of industrial equipment, facilities, and utilities at a naval air systems command site, including planning work, managing teams, and ensuring everything runs smoothly to support the organization's mission.
A good fit would be someone with experience leading maintenance operations in a manufacturing or industrial setting, who is skilled at supervising people and handling quality standards.

You will serve as a PLANT MAINTENANCE MANAGER (SUPERVISORY) in the FACILITY AND INFRASTRUCTURE MGMT DEPT of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following; 1) Managing the complete range of industrial maintenance planning and execution requirements including reactive maintenance, preventive maintenance, proactive maintenance, corrective maintenance, facility modernization projects, inspection, testing, etc.
of a variety of production machinery, industrial equipment, utilities and facilities; 2) Reviewing emerging workload requirements and determine the number of workers, skill sets, equipment, facilities, materials, and tools needed to execute workload; 3) Ensuring that the quality management system is established, implemented, and maintained in accordance with the International Standard for Quality Management Systems; 4) Determining the appropriate placement of resources using management principles; 5) Utilizing subordinate leads and teams to control and manage a variety of maintenance work functions to ensure maximum equipment reliability and readiness while fulfilling the mission of the organization; 6) Determining personnel actions to be accomplished, such as promotions, demotions, appointments, discipline, leave, performance ratings, reassignments, and other supervisory responsibilities.
