This job is for a part-time instructor in a physical therapist assistant program at a community college, where you'll teach classes and assess student progress under the guidance of a dean.
It's ideal for experienced physical therapists or assistants who enjoy sharing their knowledge in a classroom setting and have a background in areas like anatomy.
Good communication skills are key to helping students succeed.
This position is under the supervision of the associate dean and primary responsibility is instruction in the Physical Therapist Assistant Program. The faculty member is responsible for teaching courses and evaluating student performance.
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy or related area, current licensure as a physical therapist or physical therapist assistant and a minimum of three (3) years of full-time post-licensure clinical practice.
Ideal candidate will have previous teaching and/or clinical experience in subject of anatomy. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.
